Roxanne Jensen

Bio

Roxanne Jensen works with firms nationwide to set and execute business strategy. She has over 15 years of experience as a consultant for law firms and firm partners. Prior to her consulting work, Roxanne practiced law at Morrison Foerster LLP for 17 years, serving as the Managing Partner for MoFo’s Denver office for three years. After leaving MoFo, she started and grew a Division for Lateral Partners and Firm Mergers for a national recruiting company.  She joined Catapult Growth Partners in 2011, and in 2014 she founded EvolveLaw. 

Roxanne brings to her consulting practice a unique blend of expertise honed by deep exposure to law firm business models and critical understanding of innovation in the changing legal services marketplace.  Her practice focuses on a wide range of business consulting for law firms.  With her help, firms have set and executed strategies resulting in revenue and talent growth, mergers and acquisitions, integration along industry lines, revamped compensation and governance systems, and new succession plans, among other things.

Roxanne’s background and experience spur critical thinking and creative change in law firms – the thinking and change that is imperative in a constantly changing legal services market.  In every engagement, she delves deeply into firm culture and history, and blends best practices and innovation to meet firm business goals. Her experience and approach results in new business models and ideas that drive lawyer engagement and client loyalty along with revenue, profitability and growth.

Roxanne received her J.D. from the University of Colorado School of Law in 1985, and her B.A. in Philosophy and Chemistry from St. Olaf College in 1981.  She held a Colorado Federal Court Clerkship for then-Chief Judge Sherman Finesilver from 1985 until 1987.

Roxanne has co-chaired the Dean’s Advisory Council for Colorado Law, her alma mater; co-chaired finance committees for political campaigns; served on the Board of Trustees for both Stanley British Primary School and the East Angels Friends and Family Foundation; and sat on the Parent Committee for YoungLife in Central Denver.
